Structural Reconstruction from Sensor Arrays
Using distributed sensor arrays to capture boundary measurements.
Distributed Sensing
A distributed sensor array captures signals at multiple spatial locations simultaneously. The spatial distribution of the sensors, combined with the temporal characteristics of the captured signals, provides the raw data for structural reconstruction.
Reconstruction Algorithm
Our reconstruction pipeline combines time-of-flight analysis with spectral inversion. The algorithm iteratively refines an internal structural model to match the observed boundary measurements, using gradient-based optimization with physics-informed regularization.
Validation
We validate reconstruction accuracy using 3D-printed test structures with known internal geometry. Current results show reconstruction accuracy within 5% for simple geometries and 12% for complex internal structures.
